Parking Mode Explained: Hardwire Kits vs Battery Packs

Parking mode lets your dash cam keep recording while your car is parked — capturing hit-and-runs and break-ins. To run it, your camera needs constant power. You have two options.

Hardwire kit

A hardwire kit draws switched power from your fuse box with a low-voltage cut-off that protects your car battery. It's the affordable, tidy way to enable parking mode — and we can install it for you.

Battery pack (BP100 / EP100)

The BP100 battery pack powers your dash cam independently for up to 32 hours with zero drain on your car battery — perfect if you park for long stretches. Extend runtime further with the EP100.

Which should you choose?

Daily driver parked overnight at home? A hardwire kit is usually enough. Park for days, or worried about battery drain? Go with the BP100. Not sure? Ask us on WhatsApp.
